How it works
Estimate wallpaper rolls from wall area, roll size and waste allowance.
Estimating method: Adjusted area = wall area × (1 + waste percentage ÷ 100). Rolls = adjusted area ÷ roll area, rounded up.
Worked example
24 m² with 15% waste and 0.53 × 10 m rolls gives 6 rolls.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring pattern repeat.
- Not subtracting large openings when useful.
- Buying different batch numbers.
