  1. Choose the same comparison unit for both products.
  2. Convert each pack price to cost per unit.
  3. Compare the unit price, not just the shelf price.
  4. Check quality, delivery cost and waste before buying.

Worked example

£3.60 for 900 g is £0.40 per 100 g.
